Woodland Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care is an Assisted Living licensed community located just outside the perimeter west of I-285 in Smyrna, GA. Care plans are specifically designed to meet each resident's needs for medication management, bathing, dressing, grooming and hydration & nutritional management. In addition, the community also offers meal preparation, maintenance, housekeeping, transportation and daily activities. Within the Friends for Life Memory Care Neighborhood, time is taken before admission to get acquainted with each resident by asking family members to gather information to help them know who the resident is and what activities, work, family members and friends have been important to him or her. The staff receive special dementia-care training so they understand the best prompts and cues to use to assist residents in daily social and recreational activities. CaraSyst, their proprietary care plan program, tracks caregivers' notes and interactions with residents and allows family oversight and involvement. In addition to CaraSyst, SimpleC technology allows staff to creatively engage with residents and ensure quality of life focused on their individual stories. Memory Care at Woodland Ridge also offers secure courtyard access, dedicated memory care manager and a small community environment with high staff to resident ratios.
